Commitment to Diversity

As Editor-in-Chief of the Paladin I wanted the student body to feel represented in our newspaper each issue. I didn’t just want a newspaper that reported on the football team wins and science experiments. Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School is an incredible high school with many different facets in activities, faith formation, sports, news, volunteerism, and arts. We actively recruit a wide range of staffers and create a safe, welcoming, and hard working newsroom where the staff can feel free to create. We still work within school guidelines to honor our faith and community beliefs, but make sure student voices are represented no matter how small or loud.
