Website and Social Media
My senior year, my goal was to increase audience appeal in our KMC Journalism social media account, @kmccrusade. This included using pictures when video wasn’t always available. I designed a template for staffers to follow to quickly create energetic posts. This template made posting pictures more streamlined and uniform for the feed and allowed for easy sharing on the platform.
Throughout the summer of 2026, I served as an intern for Congressman Tracey Mann (KS-01) in Washington, D.C. In the office, I had the opportunity to contribute to the communications staff and create various social media graphics. A few of the following graphics were for National Corn Month, the 250th Anniversary of America, and Bob Dole's Birthday. These were just a few of the graphics I produced, and although not all were posted, I gained valuable experience in the realm of political communication.
